CIVIL WAR...Oxymoron

 

Peace and Greetings Brethren, it’s a Blessing to be writing to you again. I pray all is well with each of you and thank you to those who’ve reached out to me inquiring when I was going to produce another post. 

Happy Linear New Year 2018. This is my first offering in this cycle & it was a conscious decision to wait. After the election of Mr. Trump, I felt a major disturbance in the Force. To truly appreciate this moment, I positioned self in my Fortress of Solitude, took a literary sabbatical and went into straight observation mode. From my places of Employment, the gyms where I Ball, the Streets, Social Media and my Family, people were all expressing their feelings and thoughts about said election and the direction of this Country. In addition, I was in the midst of a battle (no pun intended) at my Part-Time Employment of 27 years where I had my work status changed to ‘On Call’. Subsequently, Fast-Forward, Regroup, I returned on December 4^th in a new position that will allow me to expand (Another conversation for another time more than likely, a post focusing on Empowerment).

I need to take a moment to give a Universal Shout to ALL who’ve Blessed me with Love during this time by listening to me vent, imparting words of wisdom and working on my behalf to get me back!  The Un & I Verse moves…

Back to the matter at hand…

Of the many things that have “Jumped Off” since 45 has taken office, there’s one thing that has developed that has more of my attention; Homogeneous Race fighting. White Folk, fighting White Folk. 45 has been given credit for embolden those who harbor hate against People of Color, European Jews and those of Non-Heterosexual orientation, to act on said feeling.  Simultaneously, one resistance has risen to combat this hate, Antifa. The events of Charlottesville, VA manifested the title of this post. One could argue a repeating of history. The North versus the South, Good versus Evil…Civil War…Indeed, there were others who fought in this war (just like there are probably People of Color, Jewish and Non-Heterosexual individuals associated with Antifa), but it was predominantly White Folk or at least this is how it’s being presented through the media.

Hold on Mr. Kwabad, Wait a minute! What about Black on Black Crime? The continued Blood Bath in Chicago and other neighborhoods by Black people? First, the term ‘Black on Black’ Crime is a ploy to mis-educate.  It’s simply a Crime (I’ve never heard ‘White on White’, ‘Latino on Latino’, ‘Asian on Asian’ you’ll get the picture – Crimes (Please correct me if I’m wrong)…I digress…True, these unfortunate events are real, manifesting from Post Slavery Syndrome. In part, this is due to the lack of employment, inferior education, destruction of the family and at the foundation, NO KNOWLEDGE OF sELF that would develop the CULTURE that would properly address the ‘Nine Major People Activities’ (Dr. Francis Cress-Welsing).

This is not the issue for my European Brothas and Sistahs…You’ll fighting over ideology…Dis-ease…

Let’s take a closer look at the term Civil War

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary & Dictionary.com, Civil is defined:

-Adequate in courtesy and politeness…Adhering to the norms of polite social intercourse (Merriam)

-Not deficient in common courtesy (Dictionary.com)

War is defined:

-A state of usually open and declared armed hostile conflict between states or nations (Merriam)

-Hostility or active military (Dictionary.com)

Oxymoron is defined:

-A figure of speech by which a locution produces an incongruous, seemingly self-contradictory effect, such as “cruel kindness” or “to make haste slowly” (Dictionary.com) or Civil War…

Locution is defined:

-A word or phrase, especially with regard to style or idiom (Dictionary.com)

Moron is defined:

-A person affected with mild mental retardation (Merriam)
-A very stupid person (Merriam)

So, this term is an oxymoron…Or succinctly put, developed by possible morons?

Although developed by possible morons, I can use the term to educate. Like White Supremacy organizations and Antifa are on opposite ends of the ideological spectrum, causing dis-ease within the USA collective body, this term is the culprit in the dis-ease of one’s Spiritual and Mental bodies that are housed in the Physical body (This is oxymoronic in reality for these three bodies should be in harmony). Within a War, there are multiple battles and our Spiritual/Mental Bodies are engaged in Civil War. Many are not at peace with self within the Universal Self, manifesting in the dis-like of jobs, careers, physical appearance and negative feelings of self.  If one was to take an objective look at the major popular sources of media and media related platforms, TV, Radio and Print/Electronic news, we’re conditioned, through mis-education, to be in a state of dis-ease. The popular TV series are mostly about Disrespect, Crime, Corruption & Sexual misconduct. The news will give one a vast majority of negativity and allocate the last few minutes to a feel good story.  Lastly, the popular music, especially for our youth and young at heart reinforces the aforementioned.  What to do?  What to do?

First, one must get the Spirit, Mind and Body in harmony with the Universe, Creator, God, Allah, Jesus, Jehovah, Buddha, etc.  I suggest initially taking at least five minutes each day to sit with oneself quietly (no music, TV or other living entities, and do deep breathing exercises (See my very first post ‘Breathing’).  If your well-being is important to you, you’ll create this space.  As you become comfortable, increase the time.

Second create an exercise program; it could be as simple as walking 20 to 30 minutes every other day.  It’s important to release energy in a productive way.

The tools/keys to one’s happiness lies within.  The question is how important is it to you to put forth the effort to connect with self within the Universal Self.  The greatest trick the Biblical Devil ever pulled was making people believe he doesn’t exist.  Be mindful of the words/phrases you place upon yourself…Example…You’ve heard this one…”The idle mind is the Devil’s playground”…Yes? No!

Mis-education…The idle mind or peaceful mind is the Creator’s workshop…The aforementioned statement leads people to believe they must stay busy…The word ‘idle’ is there to mislead…To achieve full potential, the Spirit and Mind must be at peace.  Master your Breath.
