BALANCED...ANALYSIS

No one is above critical examination...

The examination should be objective, balanced and complete & if the examination is comparing individuals, it should also be objective, balanced and complete...

Like the Jordan/LeBron debates, this political cycle, with Mr. Trump and VP Harris, has brought out a lot of emotion, hate, shade, misleading information, lies and facts...

On my wall, I've seen posts regarding how the political system has not delivered for African/Black people in this country...Yet, it has delivered for other groups...

I've seen the comments about lesser of two evils...

I've posted that there are 3 levels of government Federal/State/Local and that in order to receive for the Black Community, we must be engaged in ALL 3 levels...NOT only focusing on the Federal...& NOT less than 100 days prior to the election...

Yet, I continue to see very eloquent and skillfully drafted commentary about how VP Harris will not do for the Black Community, such as Mr. Obama did not do for the Black Community...Although I posted that...

The people are to make the politicians work for them...

This is done through the process of creating a VOTING BLOCK from the Local (creating an Agenda) through the State that then is presented as a DEMAND for our support on the Federal Level...This is NOT  done or feasible less then 100 Days prior to election...

Yes, WE should be VERY critical of VP Harris...As well As Mr. Trump... His behavior should not be normalized to where he gets a pass... 

We should ALSO be balanced with our ANALYSIS and commentary...

I've been blessed to work in Federal Govt while I was a student at Howard University...I worked for the Head Attorney of the Naval Supply Systems' Command...This Attorney mentored me on the inner workings of the Federal Govt...He reinforced this mentoring by sending me on assignment to the Pentagon and Capitol Hill...He took me to sessions on Capitol Hill and He had me study Congressional Bills - House/Senate...

I worked 35 1/2 years for the NJ Attorney General's Office...My agency regulated the Casinos in Atlantic City...We conducted investigations of applicants for their suitability of obtaining a casino license...The investigations (especially for those applicant's with a lot of assets), were more involved than an IRS audit)...These investigations were based upon the Casino Control Act...Examining the applicant's Integrity, Character, etc...

One of those applicants was Mr. Trump...He was investigated, multiple times...

When I speak about him regarding skill set and stating that it does not translate well to our Federal Govt, I'm not speaking from Opinion, Emotion or a Dislike for him...This is ACTUAL FACTS...His first Term bore this out...

I credit Mr. Trump for exposing the flaws within our Government, taking advantage of them and REVEALING how UNEDUCATED/ APATHETIC 2 many of the masses of our people are, regarding Politics...

& Yes, Project 2025 is real...& if implemented would not be good for the country that is comprised of a diversity of ideologies/cultures...I don't work off emotions...This is Factual...Research for yourself...

What potentially could make our country great is the balance of Progressive and Conservative ideologies...This Project would institute an unbalanced ultra conservative paradigm...

VOTING is 1 tool that is used to accomplish results...It is NOT a Magic Wand 2 deliver people 2 a Magical Land/Place of Salvation...

If VOTING did not matter, then there would not be continuous/concerted efforts to take people's right 2 vote & suppress the vote...2 remove people from voting rosters...2 Gerrymander 2 create/maintain power...

It is not lost on me that this country was founded upon Systemic Racism, inclusive of Class-ism and Sex-ism...Understanding this, it would be foolish of me to get upset when said Systemic Racist country does not, out of kindness, specifically create and deliver policies that benefit Black people, given our history of Chattel Slavery...

It would be MORE FOOLISH to not utilize the tools available to create a better life for my Community/Family/Self since, I'm living in said country...

In order to utilize the tools affectively, one must have an understanding of the landscape...In this case Federal/State/Local...If One is not actively engaged in ALL 3 Levels of Govt, they have ALREADY lost...Those who have benefitted from the understanding of all 3 Levels of Govt have utilized their tools affectively...& received what they've demanded...

As I've posted before, either VP Harris or Mr. Trump will be the next President of this country...I invite everyone to research both candidates to make an informed decision...

Research will help you see through the misinformation...

President Biden set VP Harris up to succeed him...Thus, she was involved in the success of President Biden's term...

Here are some reasons that VP Harris is the better candidate of the two...

-2021 American Rescue Plan Act
-2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act
-2021 John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act
(Being held up by the GOP in the House)
-2022 Emmett Till Antilynching Act

-More people have Health Insurance
-Insulin is capped at $35
-Medicare is capped at $2,000
-The debt increase is LESS than TWICE the amount of the previous Administration
-Crime is down
-Provided over $6 Billion of funding to HBCUs versus $91 million by the previous Administration
-Employment is up under this Administration

I'll end with this...During Mrs. Obama's speech, she used the phrase "Do Something!" ...Pertaining to those who, for various reasons, are not engaged in the political process...

The power of Politics is Local...

I've asked others the following...

-How many City Council/Municipal, School Board, Parent Organization (School) meetings have they've attended?

-How many meetings have they've had with their District's School Superintendent?

-How many Local organizations do they belong to?

-Have you volunteered for local events?

-How many committees have you served to improve the lives of the babies/community?

-Have you met with and/or communicated with your Federal/State/Local Representatives?

I ask for I've been educated to do and have done all of the above...& this effort has yielded beneficial results in my community...

Remember, how can we progress if we are not utilizing ALL of the available tools...Hotep

Although Mr. O'donnell is speaking about Mr. Trump, the reason I'm posting this is that it's not really about Mr. Trump...

It's about US... the Citizens of this country...

It's about how the now corporate media continues to insult us by not holding public figures, specifically those who choose to govern,  accountable for lying to us...

& THAT'S ON US...

To the point that when I'm in discussion with people, be it online or in person, too many of the people repeat the lies/misinformation back to me...

Just like the now corporate media does not find value in truth (for the money is in the culture of being divisive), too many people do not find value in researching to be in Harmony with truth...

If we did,  we would be demanding truth regarding Labor,  Law,  Economics, Entertainment, Education, Sex, War, Religion,  Politics...

WE would be DEMANDING that CIVICS be put back in schools...

I WOULD advocate that it be mandatory that ALL Adults have to take a workshop on how our government works,  Federal/State/Local...

What is a Democracy?  What is Capitalism? Is this country solely a democracy?  What other aspects of governing does our country display? 

What are the 3 branches of our Federal Government?  Is your state a Commonwealth?  What's the difference?  How to form & build a voting block? 

Instead of...

Is VP Harris really Black?  

Did you hear the latest insult Mr. Trump just said? 

The sad thing is that we can easily fact check & research with our smart phones (they are hand held computers)... Laziness

Then when it's reported that VP Harris' political career advanced due to locking up thousands of Black men,  we would know that is incorrect... The number is 45 & we would know that she was a Prosecutor...& know the job description...

We would know that she was NOT the Border Czar, another lie...We would know  the responsibilities of a Border Czar...We would know what VP Harris did in Central America...We would  know that she spent more time in the continent of Africa, on official state business, than any VP in US History...

ALSO...

Instead of being upset that Mr. Trump appointed multiple judges to SCOTUS who are now taking away rights, we would have been EDUCATED enough to know that the 2016 Presidential election was NOT about Mrs. Clinton, it was about appointing SCOTUS & other Federal judges...
